Tin Hut regulars have been enjoying the return of live music on Friday nights over the past few weeks. This Friday (20th) is the turn of Hard Candy, five well-known musicians from the bottom half of the North Island – Wayne Morris on drums, our own Bob Cooper-Grundy and Kate Marshall on everything, Warwick Hill (bass) and Karen Clarke (guitar/vocals). They promise “seriously hot picked country rock and Blues with some boogie and swing in the mix”. The show starts at 7.30p.m. Meanwhile check out Trouble and Satisfaction on Soundcloud.
Next week (27th) sees the return of the expanded Troubles [a.k.a. Big Trouble ], the seven-piece jazz combo with string section, fresh from the recent launch of their new CD.
