Hi all just like to say how much Dave and I enjoyed the October night and the great reception we received from the punters. Always an enjoyable gig and we really look forward to another one. On a bit of a note of interest I guess you noticed that we sat down for the performance, this being as a result of me having just had knee surgery well here's a wee giggle as a result of prior sporting accidents (don't ask) I have no feelings in the nerve endings of my right buttock and didn't notice a stage light just behind me. Cut a long story short when I got home I discovered a large burn on my buttock, visit the doctor, visit the plastics unit in Lower Hutt Hospital, over night stay for skin graft and still trying to get better. Most people have a bit of a "giggle" (including my daughters) when they hear this and I can't say I blame them. It was fun filling out the ACC forms and I'm sure it was fun reading them. Won't stop us coming back but it will ensure that I take a bit more notice of my stage set up! On a nicer note the Maton guitar that I borrowed for the gig was un-harmed, phew, thank goodness for small mercies.

Hope you enjoyed the rave cheers Dougal
